Inspired Chiropractic & Wellness

Chiropractic Services

At Inspired, we believe in truly patient-centered care. That means we take the time to get to know you, your symptoms, your health goals and your preferences for care. At your first chiropractic visit, we will discuss any previous care you have had and go through your intake paperwork in detail. This is why we ask that you take the time to complete your online paperwork before your first visit on a computer. It is an extensive questionnaire that we go through to the detailed extent that is necessary for you. We will adjust you at your first visit as long as there are no red flags found during your thorough exam. We typically see you next within a few weeks and develop a care plan together from there based on your goals, our experience treating thousands of other patients and your exam findings.

This is about YOU. If you have back pain only and want a quick fix, we are happy to meet you where we are and your paperwork can reflect that. We will always recommend what is best, and we believe in working together towards your goals. If you are switching from another chiropractor and secretly hoping we do the moves you have always loved, we will ask about that. If you are interested in improving your posture, addressing chronic pain, have a problem no one can seem to help you with, are nervous about getting adjusted, have a complex list of health symptoms, don’t remember the last time you felt great or simply want to establish a wellness routine, we can also do any of those things.

Inspired is a one-stop wellness shop where you can take part in as many or as few of our services as you desire. We are interested in the many puzzle pieces that go together to create the picture of why your body is feeling the way it is. Once you complete a Chiropractic New Patient Exam, you may also receive the following services: active rehab and stretching, therapeutic massage, cupping, dry needling, “scraping” myofascial therapies, non-surgical spinal decompression, e-stim or ultrasound therapies. We spend most of our time during your visits one-on-one with you, rather than sending you to stations where various stretches or machines do the work. We value this time, as it allows us to get to know you and also to teach you how to feel great on your own long-term, without our help.

Our chiropractic focus is on function, rather than structure. We will complete a posture scan at your first visit to correlate your structure with your symptoms and see where improvements can be made to lessen your chances for increased degeneration and pain. Our goal is to get you moving pain-free, as quickly as possible, both at the level of the spine and joints as well as through exercise and stretching.

We spend time at each visit on releasing tight muscles so they may function better, using a variety of different modalities, such as ART (Active Release Technique), trigger point release, cupping, dry needling and more. Throughout your care, if necessary, we will not hesitate to refer you out for imaging, such as x-ray or MRI, or for a professional referral, such as an orthopedic doctor or neurologist. We are happy to co-manage your care with the best professionals for your situation. We find that the vast majority of patients improve greatly with our variety of services.

Do you treat pregnant women, babies and children?

Yes, our doctors all have extensive training in prenatal and post-partum care for women. We are trained in Logan Basic and Webster techniques, which allow the pelvis to be in optimal position for birth. Chiropractic care during pregnancy is associated with less interventions during labor and better outcomes overall. Acupuncture and chiropractic care together are highly recommended and regarded in scientific literature for holistic care during pregnancy.

Yes, we do treat infants and children. Every doctor is trained in safe and gentle pediatric care for all stages of growing.

Dr. Sara is trained in Craniosacral Therapy for infants and works with babies who are receiving tongue and lip tie revisions, have recurrent ear infections, are colicky, have constipation or reflux, who have dysregulated sleeping patterns, who have torticollis or plagiocephaly and more. She also refers within the Cleveland birthworker community regularly for supportive care for mom and baby throughout pregnancy, post-partum and childhood. If you are looking for a midwife, homebirthing resources, doula, tongue and lip tie revision guidance, lactation consultant, placenta encapsulation service, in-home infant care or more, she would be happy to connect you with the many providers she works with.

How do you handle billing with insurance?

Chiropractic care is often an insurance-covered service at our office. Please text or call us at 216-801-4322 to inquire about whether we are in network with your plan. Because every plan is very different, we pay our billing team to check your benefits in detail. We send your info to them at your first visit and review your benefits with you at your second visit so that you may understand everything possible about your health insurance coverage, including number of visits per year, copay or deductible/coinsurance, max out of pocket amount, covered services, acupuncture coverage, lab coverage, pre-authorization and secondary insurance details.

We understand that the health insurance world can be hard to navigate, and we are here to assist you to the best of our knowledge and ability. You may be responsible for your first visit price in full toward your deductible once we receive your benefit information back. We will always communicate openly and honestly with you about your finances. Medicare and Medicaid patients must pay for their initial exam, as it is a non-covered service; however, chiropractic adjustments are a covered service after your initial visit.
